En España no solo hay gente que enferma por COVID, apoyemos a esta familia: “Mi hija Lidia murió sin recibir tratamiento – Su diagnóstico llegó cuando ya estaba muerta”
Les estará pasando a muchos de ustedes, muy mal se tendrán que ver para acudir a un médico en España y mucho más, cuando hemos llegado a un punto en el que el médico atiende por teléfono y tras la conversación decide si es necesario ver al enfermo, o no. Hace unas semanas nos hacíamos eco del vídeo de una madre que había pasado por una situación dramática al perder a su hijo de 8 años después de varios días en el que su hijo no fue tratado en un hospital de sus dolencias.
Y hoy nos tenemos que hacer eco de otro caso similar e igual de dramático. Se trata de Lidia, una joven que ha fallecido con tan solo 22 años de edad cuya familia denuncia que fue diagnosticada después de haber fallecido con lo que, parece quedar claro que en España, en estos momentos, no hay más enfermos que los del chinirus.
La familia de Lidia ha lanzado una petición a través de ‘Change.org‘ que dice lo siguiente:
“Mi hija Lidia ha muerto con tan solo 22 años de vida y con un tumor cerebral. Los resultados de sus pruebas diagnósticas llegaron a casa cuando ya estaba muerta.
Es necesario controlar el Covid, pero por favor, no podemos olvidar que existen también otras dolencias, que HAY MÁS ENFERMEDADES Y NO LAS ESTAMOS DIAGNOSTICANDO NI TRATANDO A TIEMPO. ¡Esto tiene que cambiar!
Mi hija tenía toda una vida por delante. Y nunca sabremos si podía haberla salvado, pero de lo que estoy segura es de que con ella la sanidad no ha llegado a tiempo. No es justo este dolor.
En mayo le detectaron un tumor en una resonancia y el día 14 se lo quitaron y se lo llevaron a analizar. Cuando la vimos tenía la cabeza llena de grapas. Nos dijeron que tenía mala pinta, que iba a necesitar tratamiento, pero que todavía no sabían cuál porque antes tenían que averiguar qué tipo de cáncer tenía. Que en 8 o 10 días le darían los resultados, y que a partir de ahí decidirían con qué tratamiento empezar.
Pero pasaban los días y no llegaba nada. Llamábamos y nos decían que tuviéramos paciencia, que ya los harían llegar. En junio llegaron por fin: no concluyentes, decían. Otra vez había que esperar. Y así hasta que mi hija murió dos meses después, el 12 de julio, sin sus resultados, sin un tratamiento, sin derecho a hacer lo posible por sobrevivir.
Murió sin haber recibido ningún tratamiento y a la espera de unos resultados que nunca llegaron… los recibimos en casa cuando ya estaba muerta.
Exigimos que nos pidan perdón. Nuestra hija tenía derecho a intentarlo, pero los enormes retrasos en la sanidad pública se lo impidieron. Y pedimos también que NADIE tenga que pasar por lo que hemos pasado nosotros.
Que establezcan tiempos máximos de espera para según qué citas médicas, tiempos máximos de espera para entregar según qué resultados diagnósticos o tiempos máximos de espera para según qué cirugías. NO TODO VALE.
Sin eso, los ciudadanos estamos perdidos, porque no tenemos nada a lo que agarrarnos. Nos piden que esperen y esperamos. Y así, esperando,… fue como mi hija se me fue.
No podemos consentir esperas a cualquier precio, sin información ni derecho a exigir nada. No podemos defender todo lo que pasa en nuestra sanidad alegando que “hay covid”. Hay Covid, sí, pero hay muchas otras cosas que también están pasando. Y personas que SE ESTÁN MURIENDO. Como mi hija de 22 años. Ella tenía derecho a una atención más rápida de las que se le dio. Y nosotros también…
Justicia para Lidia y para todos los pacientes que no estamos tratando a tiempo.
Pedimos que nos den una respuesta inmediata para evitar que los ciudadanos nos quedemos desamparados ante situaciones como estas, que sepamos cuándo se están vulnerando nuestros derechos y cómo tenemos que actuar. Respuestas inmediatas para que esto NO vuelva a pasar.
Lo que hemos vivido con nuestra hija es una vergüenza y queremos que se sepa.

Covid: Police in Liverpool arrest 16 at anti-lockdown protest
Sixteen people have been arrested after hundreds of demonstrators attended an anti-lockdown protest in Liverpool city centre.Merseyside Police issued a strong statement criticising those attending as "selfish and irresponsible".
They said they had arrested people for breaching public order and coronavirus rules that ban mass gatherings.
Images shows demonstrators were not observing social distancing measures or wearing face coverings.
Police have implemented a dispersal zone in the city centre and south Liverpool until Sunday, saying the decision followed an anti-lockdown rally last Saturday , when two men were arrested.
The area had among the highest rates of coronavirus infections and deaths in October, when it became the first region in England to face the highest tier restrictions before the second national lockdown.
About 100,000 people have been tested for the virus since the country's first city-wide tests started in Liverpool last weekend, local officials have said.
On Friday , mayor Joe Anderson added that the city's infection rate and hospital admissions were also "starting to come down".

Sweden adds further restrictions on outdoor gatherings as coronavirus cases hit record highs
The Swedish Government has announced new restrictions on the size of public gatherings as the country seeks to come to grips with a second wave of the pandemic that has seen record daily numbers of new cases and growing pressure on hospitals.Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said Swedes were not sticking to coronavirus recommendations as well as they did in the spring and public gatherings would be limited to eight people, down from a previous upper limit of 300.
"This is the new norm for the entire society," Mr Lofven told a news conference.
"Don't go to gyms, don't go to libraries, don't host dinners. Cancel."
Mr Lofven said that the situation would get worse and appealed to Swedes to "do your duty" and "take responsibility to stop the spread" of COVID-19.
The Prime Minister's announcement comes after the Government, as recently as Friday, announced its strategy would not change.
The Nordic nation of 10 million people, whose soft-touch approach to combating the virus has drawn worldwide attention — and harsh domestic criticism from some — has seen a surge in the number of cases, hospitalisations and deaths in recent weeks.
At 5,990, the number of new cases reported on Friday was the highest since the start of the pandemic.
A further 42 deaths were also recorded, the most for about three months.
The Swedish Government said last week that it would impose a nationwide ban on the sale of alcohol in bars, restaurants and night clubs after 10:00pm from November 20.
Restrictions could be extended through Christmas and New Year
Swedish Interior Minister Mikael Damberg said the new limit on gatherings — far lower the 50 allowed during the spring outbreak — would begin on November 24 and be in place for four weeks but could be extended to run over the Christmas and New Year holidays.Sweden has gained international attention for its unorthodox response to the pandemic, shunning lockdowns and widespread use of face masks and instead relying on mainly voluntary measures even as the pandemic hit the country increasingly hard.
More than 6,000 people with COVID-19 have died in Sweden since the pandemic began, a death rate per capita several times higher than that of its Nordic neighbours, if somewhat lower than some larger European countries such as Spain.
"We don't believe in a total lockdown," Mr Lofven said.
"We believe that the measures we have taken … are appropriate."

Lufthansa startet biometrische Gesichtserkennung
Lufthansa und Swiss wollen ihre Passagiere künftig am Gesicht erkennen. Das biometrische Kameraauge soll die Fluggäste selbst mit Mund-Nasenschutz identifizieren.Die Fluggesellschaften Lufthansa und Swiss starten am kommenden Dienstag (24. November) die biometrische Gesichtserkennung von Passagieren.
An den Flughäfen Frankfurt und München müssen registrierte Programmteilnehmer an den Zugängen zur Passagierkontrolle und zum Flugsteig nur noch in ein Kameraauge schauen, um Zugang zu erhalten. Dabei könnten sie sogar ihre Alltagsmasken anbehalten, wie der Lufthansa-Konzern am Dienstag in Frankfurt mitteilte.
Es handelt sich um die erste Anwendung des neu entwickelten Systems „Star Alliance Biometrics“, die perspektivisch in dem gesamten Airline-Bündnis genutzt werden könnte. Mit dem hoheitlichen EasyPass-System zur Grenzkontrolle ist das neue System aber nicht verbunden.
Lufthansa-Vorstandsmitglied Christina Foerster betonte die „hygienischen Vorteile“ der neuen Identifizierungsmethode. „Gerade während der Pandemie sind solche berührungslosen Abläufe am Flughafen ein großer Pluspunkt.“ Der Frankfurter Flughafenbetreiber Fraport kündigte an, die Gesichtserkennung auf weitere Prozessstellen wie beispielsweise die Gepäckabgabe ausweiten zu wollen.
Laut Lufthansa werden zunächst drei Flugsteige in Frankfurt und zwei in München mit der neuen Technik ausgerüstet. An dem Programm teilnehmen können Mitglieder des Vielflieger-Programms „Miles & More“, die sich zuvor registrieren lassen. (dpa)
