Elecciones generales Estados Unidos 2020: Donald Trump vs Joe Biden

“I Will Destroy You” – Biden Deputy Press Secretary Threatens Female Politico Reporter For Pursuing Story He Wanted Kept Private

Joe Biden’s Deputy Press Secretary TJ Ducklo threatened a Politico reporter for pursuing a story about his romantic relationship with an Axios reporter.

People Magazine recently ran a sympathetic article revealing that Ducklo is dating Axios reporter Alexi McCammond, who covered the 2020 Biden campaign.

The romantic relationship between Ducklo and McCammond raised ethics concerns since she covers the Biden Administration.

“Alexi disclosed her relationship with TJ to her editors in November and asked to be taken off of the Biden beat. We reassigned her to cover progressives in Congress, the progressive movement, and Vice President Kamala Harris. Alexi is a valued member of the Axios team, and we stand behind her and her coverage,” an Axios spokesperson told Fox News.

Ducklo became angry when he found out that Politico reporter Jennifer Palmieri was pursuing the story and he threatened to “destroy” her and “ruin her reputation” in a series of phone calls.

TJ Ducklo made vulgar and misogynistic comments to Palmieri and accused her of being “jealous” of his relationship with McCammond.

Vanity Fair reported (emphasis our own):

[Behind] the scenes, Ducklo had previously lashed out at Politico reporter Tara Palmeri, who was reporting the story, exhibiting behavior that led to tense meetings between the Washington news outlet’s editors and senior White House officials.

The confrontation began on Inauguration Day, January 20, after Palmeri, a coauthor of Politico’s Playbook, contacted McCammond for comment while one of her male colleagues left a message for Ducklo, according to sources. Ducklo subsequently called a Playbook editor to object to the story, but was told to call the Playbook reporters with his concerns. But instead of calling the male reporter who initially contacted him, Ducklo tried to intimidate Palmeri by phone in an effort to kill the story. “I will destroy you,” Ducklo told her, according to sources, adding that he would ruin her reputation if she published it.

During the off-the-record call, Ducklo made derogatory and misogynistic comments, accusing Palmeri of only reporting on his relationship—which, due to the ethics questions that factor into the relationship between a journalist and White House official, falls under the purview of her reporting beat—because she was “jealous” that an unidentified man in the past had “wanted to fuck” McCammond “and not you.” Ducklo also accused Palmeri of being “jealous” of his relationship with McCammond.

(Palmeri had no prior relationship or communication with McCammond before calling her to report on the Playbook item, which was a story that she was assigned and had not independently pursued.)

Remember when Joe Biden “promised” to fire anyone working for him who disrespected another colleague?

“If you’re ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise I will fire you on the spot,” Biden said on January 20.

Why is Joe Biden tolerating this behavior by one of his top communications officials?

WATCH:

Update: TJ Ducklo has been placed on a one-week suspension without pay and will no longer be assigned to work with any reporters at Politico.

So much for Joe’s promise to “fire people on the spot” for disrespecting others.

Biden Breaks Promise to ‘Fire People on the Spot’ if They Treat Others with Disrespect – Places Hostile, Misogynistic Deputy Press Sec on One-Week Suspension

Another day, another broken promise.

Three weeks ago Joe Biden promised he would fire anyone working for him ‘on the spot’ if they disrespected others.

“If you’re ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise I will fire you on the spot.”

Joe Biden however is allowing one of his male White House officials to keep his job after he threatened a female reporter.

Biden did not fire his Deputy Press Secretary TJ Ducklo after it was revealed he used vulgar and misogynist language toward the reporter for pursuing a story he wanted kept secret.

Ducklo became angry when he found out that Politico reporter Jennifer Palmieri was pursuing a story about his romantic relationship with an Axios reporter and he threatened to “destroy” her and “ruin her reputation” in a series of phone calls.

They don’t care what he did – they ONLY care that they got caught. They’ve known since Jan. about this.

Instead of firing Ducklo like Joe Biden promised, the Deputy Press Secretary was placed on a one-week suspension without pay.

How progressive!

Iran Claims America Is Rebuilding the Islamic State

Iranian Chief Justice Ebrahim Raeisi on Wednesday accused the U.S. government of helping the Islamic State recover its strength in Syria and spread its operatives into countries such as Iran that oppose U.S. hegemony.

According to Raeisi, only Iran and the Shiite-dominated government of Iraq truly stand against ISIS.

“The U.S. claimed that it seeks to fight Daesh [ISIS] and formed a coalition for this, but we have witnessed the strengthening of Daesh in terms of weapons, logistics, intelligence, and other aspects,” Raeisi said during a meeting with Iraqi President Barhan Salih in Baghdad.

“While Iraq, Syria, Iran and regional countries are working together to eliminate the remnants of Daesh, the Americans do nothing but relocate the Daesh terrorists in the region,” the head of the Iranian judiciary claimed.

In a similar vein, Raeisi portrayed Iran’s chief terror operative, Gen. Qasem Soleimani, and Iraqi terrorist militia chief Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis as “heroes of the fight against terrorism” who were “martyred” when the U.S. eliminated them with a drone strike in January 2020.

Muhandis was the founder of Kataib Hezbollah, an Iraqi Shiite militia group loyal to Iran and a designated terrorist organization. He died because Kataib Hezbollah launched a series of terrorist attacks against Iraqi bases where American personnel was stationed, killing an American contractor. Soleimani was the mastermind of innumerable terrorist attacks against American troops in Iraq and coordinated an illegal assault on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad shortly before he was targeted.

“Daesh” is another name for the Islamic State. Raeisi and Iranian state media also referred to ISIS as a “Takfiri outfit,” a term that essentially means “false Muslims.”

Iran frequently accuses the United States of either not doing enough to fight ISIS or actively supporting it, ignoring the tremendous damage inflicted on the Islamic State under the Trump administration, including the humiliating death of ISIS commander Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi at the hands of U.S. special forces in October 2019.

In late January, a U.S. airstrike conducted with the cooperation of Iraqi security forces killed Jabbar Salman Ali Farhan al-Issawi, the top Islamic State leader in Iraq, along with nine of his fighters. Al-Issawi was described as the “deputy caliph,” or leader, of the entire Islamic State by Iraqi officials. The strike was conducted after an ISIS attack on a market in Baghdad killed 32 Iraqis.

Raeisi visited the site of the U.S. drone strike that killed Soleimani and Muhandis during his drip to Baghdad. He also met with “martyrs” of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), armed Shiite militia groups that were deputized to fight the Islamic State at the height of its power. Kataib Hezbollah is a member of the PMU.

“The assassination of Soleimani and Muhandis will not go unanswered,” Raeisi vowed while visiting the location of their deaths. “The resistance of Iraqis against the elements of the Great Satan America deserves to be praised.”

Influential Iraqi Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr deployed his own paramilitary force, the so-called “Peace Brigade,” to the cities of Najaf, Karbala, and Baghdad this week because an alliance of ISIS terrorists and Baathists, the remnants of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein’s party, is supposedly planning to attack Shiite holy sites.

Demonstrators in Najaf last Friday chanted “Moqtada is the enemy of Allah,” a slogan that spokesmen for the Shiite clerics denounced as the creation of “Baathists and Daesh members, or people imitating the West and loving the Zionist enemies.” Sadr’s forces have already conducted “raids” against organizers of the protests, and have allegedly kidnapped and tortured at least one activist.

The reason people were marching in Najaf and denouncing Sadr as an enemy of Allah is that February marks the one-year anniversary of Sadr’s goons attacking a camp full of anti-government protesters, killing at least eight people. Sadr and his “Peace Brigades” alternate between supporting demonstrations against the corrupt Iraqi government and murdering them; at the time of the February 2020 massacre, he was wholeheartedly supporting the candidacy of Prime Minister Mohammed Allawi, also backed by Iran and its Shiite proxies in Iraq.

Allawi eventually withdrew from the contest, leaving Mustafa al-Kadhimi to become prime minister. Kadhimi campaigned on reducing the influence of Iran and Shiite militia forces over Iraqi government.
