Vatican Halts U.S. Bishops’ Statement Saying Biden Policies Advance ‘Moral Evils’
ROME — The Vatican intervened Wednesday to stop the publication of a statement from the U.S. Bishops sharply criticizing Joe Biden’s policies that directly conflict with Church teaching.The January 20 statement, signed by the President of the U.S. Bishops’ Conference (USCCB) Archbishop José Gomez, noted that “our new President has pledged to pursue certain policies that would advance moral evils and threaten human life and dignity, most seriously in the areas of abortion, contraception, marriage, and gender.”
“Of deep concern is the liberty of the Church and the freedom of believers to live according to their consciences,” the statement said.
The Pillar, an online Catholic news outlet, broke the news Wednesday that the Vatican’s Secretariat of State had taken the unusual step of nixing the Bishops’ statement to prevent or at least delay its release.
In the statement, which was due to be released at 9:00am ET Wednesday, Archbishop Gomez declared that “the nation’s bishops are given the duty of proclaiming the Gospel in all its truth and power, in season and out of season, even when that teaching is inconvenient or when the Gospel’s truths run contrary to the directions of the wider society and culture.”
Working with President Biden will be unique, the document states, since “he is our first president in 60 years to profess the Catholic faith.”
“We have deep concerns about many threats to human life and dignity in our society,” the archbishop notes. “But as Pope Francis teaches, we cannot stay silent when nearly a million unborn lives are being cast aside in our country year after year through abortion.”
Believing the text to have already been released, the Catholic News Agency published a report on the statement just after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The Pillar reported the statement had stirred up a hot debate among the U.S. Bishops on Tuesday, with objections coming from Cardinal Joseph Tobin of Newark and Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago, among others.
Sources told The Pillar that Pope Francis was expected to release a statement on the Biden administration to coincide with Wednesday’s inauguration, which aroused concern in the Vatican that a preemptive statement from Archbishop Gomez might muddy the waters for the pope.
“Abortion is a direct attack on life that also wounds the woman and undermines the family,” the statement asserts. “It is not only a private matter, it raises troubling and fundamental questions of fraternity, solidarity, and inclusion in the human community. It is also a matter of social justice.”
“We cannot ignore the reality that abortion rates are much higher among the poor and minorities, and that the procedure is regularly used to eliminate children who would be born with disabilities,” it states.
As Breitbart News reported, Joe Biden’s Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) partnered with abortion giant Planned Parenthood so that anyone who donates to Biden’s Field of Flags, set up at the National Mall for his inauguration ceremony, will automatically be added to Planned Parenthood’s email list.
Last June, Mr. Biden appeared in a Planned Parenthood advertisement, promising the full support of his presidency for abortion rights.
In the ad, Biden promised to expand women’s healthcare and to promote abortion both domestically and abroad.
“Together we’re going to reverse the global gag order, the domestic gag order, restoring the Title X program,” Biden continued, in reference to Ronald Reagan’s Mexico City policy as well as the Hyde Amendment, which restrict the use of federal fund to support abortion providers.
“We will protect women’s constitutional right to choose, and I am proud to stand with you in this fight,” Biden said.

Es evidente que, o debido a la edad, o debido a la mala vida, a Joe Biden ya no le rige demasiado bien la cabeza. Es más, muchos rumores apuntan a que detrás de la supuesta presidencia de Joe Biden se podría encontrar la mano negra de Obama, quien estaría manejando a este hombre, completamente senil, como si fuera una auténtica marioneta. El caso es que se supone que en un futuro no demasiado lejano que su incapacidad será tan evidente, que la marioneta que coloquen en la presidencia de los Estados Unidos sea otra.
Si se dieron ustedes cuenta en la ceremonia inaugural, en la de la toma de posesión de Biden, su esposa le llevaba de la mano como si fuera un niño pequeño, ella tiraba de él y le dirigía y cada vez que ella no hacía eso, Biden se dirigía despistado hacia otro lugar con gran torpeza.
Pero lo que más nos ha llamado la atención son las imágenes que hemos podido ver en un vídeo, las de Biden firmando, supuestamente, órdenes ejecutivas y distintos documentos. Observen que las carpetas están llenas de hojas en blanco. Y para que se den cuenta de que están verdaderamente en blanco y no es porque el vídeo tenga algún tipo de fallo, dense cuenta que al lado de la mano derecha de Biden se pueden observar papeles que se ve claramente que llevan algo escrito. - La evidencia de conocimiento generalizado, corrupción y connivencia en nombre de la familia Biden con ciudadanos extranjeros es clara y convincente.
- Como vicepresidente, Joe Biden, era el alto funcionario de la administración Obama que supervisaba los esfuerzos anticorrupción en Ucrania. La web de información militar military.com ha publicado hoy una noticia que nos ha llamado mucho la atención, pues carece de sentido lo que se tiene previsto para mantener presencia militar en la capital de los Estados Unidos.Según esta información, que puedes leer en este enlace, unos 7.000 soldados de la Guardia Nacional van a permanecer en Washington hasta mediados del próximo mes de marzo.
Y es que parece que el servicio secreto de los Estados Unidos ha solicitado la presencia de la Guardia Nacional para garantizar la seguridad en el Distrito de Columbia.
Sinceramente es una decisión que nos llama mucho la atención pues, aparentemente, carecería de sentido tal nivel de seguridad en Washington, ya que, también aparentemente, el juramento del presidente Joe Biden se ha desarrollado con normalidad, sin que ningún hecho, salvo la gran seguridad presente, llamara la atención.
Por eso nos, preguntamos qué es lo que está ocurriendo en los Estados Unidos para que se tenga previsto que 7.000 soldados permanezcan en su capital hasta mediados de marzo, ¿haciendo qué?, ¿defendiéndose de qué?

National Guard Plans to Ask Thousands of Troops to Remain in DC Until Mid-March
The National Guard Bureau is working on a plan to call for thousands of volunteers from the 25,600 Guard members in Washington, D.C., to remain on duty in the city until as late as mid-March.Guard officials announced Thursday that approximately 15,000 Air and Army National Guard troops would begin returning to their home states as early as this weekend.
Over the past two weeks, the massive Guard force flowed into D.C. to reinforce federal law enforcement for Wednesday's inauguration of President Joe Biden, following the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol that left five people dead.
While the inauguration took place peacefully, the Guard is still supporting requests from the U.S. Secret Service and federal law enforcement. Guard officials said Thursday that approximately 7,000 troops would likely remain in D.C. through the end of January.
As of Friday, the plan is to have up to 7,000 troops remain in D.C. through March 12, but those details are still in the planning stages, a National Guard official told Military.com.
Any Guard members who stay past the original 31-day mobilization order will be on a volunteer basis, and their orders will be modified for the new time frame, Nahaku McFadden, a spokesman for the Guard Bureau, told Military.com.
"We are not going to make anybody stay," McFadden said.
Guard officials said Thursday that troops in D.C. and across the country did not face a single security threat on Inauguration Day.
"We not only had 26,000 here in D.C., but there were also 7,000 supporting 30 state capitals around the country," U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Steven Nordhaus, director of Domestic Operations and Force Development for the National Guard Bureau, told Military.com. "There were no incidents that I know of. ... It was really remarkable with our states working with their local law enforcement. It was very peaceful, thanks to all the great efforts from the states and the National Guard in each of those states."
